Koenji- a dream for vintage lovers!

Koenji is a part of Tokyo with lots of charm. I found very nice vintage stores, though many where closed yesterday (start of Goldenweek vacations...). I was able to find some items I really like(love), two jackets, a dress, a scarf and thin curtains with prints. 

It is also an area for small restaurants and an interesting place for all kinds of music.

I have been busy here and there....

Today I have been sitting in the subway and been waiting and waiting for hours....

........so I have been looking at people around me....... A cold day in Tokyo....brrrrrrr!

Everyday life in Tokyo....

I walk by this house every morning on my walk home from the school bus. I take an extra long walk home so my dog gets happy. Some days I meet an old japanese grandfather, he is always very happy and shouts God morning! to everyone... (no not to everyone... only in english to me...)

Canal Cafe- where you can find the green Tokyo....

This is really a nice place in Tokyo. Subway station Lidabashi, french quartier, by the water, you can find the Canal cafe. Where you can sit by the water and have real lunch or just a coffee. It is possible to rent a boat and relax out in the water. A perfect Sunday activity.

I have had a very nice meeting with a japanese company. An interesting company with a concept I really like.  To give boring or forgotten products a new shape and beauty that make you smile (but still keep a low price).

CLASKA hotel, Tokyo- a place for design, fashion or just sleeping.

When it was Tokyo fashion week, they had some shows here...

Interesting brands like Dresscamp, Writtenafterwards and Mint design etc...

At the Claska hotel you can also find nice rooms, a lounge restaurant and on second floor an interesting design shop.

It is so nice with the warm days we have here in Tokyo now!
