Christmas at Starbucks...

Today I was walking in Ginza and I passed by the store Barneys(New York). It was really nice inside, the artwork was fantastic...but I couldn´t make any photos....They had some really really nice things also - like dark, dark blue dresses in silk, nice gloves, amazing coats and umbrellas from Neisha (crosland)...I also passed by the Etro store and they had lovely colours... I also found a pair of boots that was only to dream about...
Everything I saw today was too expensive for me...but I got inspired.
Tokyo is really nice now with red, red trees...and Christmas is glittering more and more...

Arne and Carlos is two fashion designers, based in the countryside in Norway. Here is their first book about them and their work. Seems to be very interesting.

We are proud to announce that our first book is out now!

The official launch will take place in DiN at Steen & Strøm in Oslo on December 9th, from 14.00 - 16.00. There, we will talk about and sign our first book.

The book is about our work as designers. We live on top of a mountain in the countryside in Norway, 190 km North of Oslo and the book shows our creative process, from inspiration and our first ideas and all the way to the finished garments. The book focuses especially on the creative process we went through when we designed our first DIY knitwear collection in cooperation with the Norwegian Arts & Crafts Association.

Olle Eksell-always the best!

Olle Eksell-swedish illustrator and graphic designer is one of my biggest inspiration. His drawings and forms are so happy, always modern and peculiar....(kluriga). I just found a new book here in Tokyo about him...I can not read anthing (I must start to learn japanese...I will try after Christmas...)but I can still look at all his beautiful drawing and designs....I wonder if maybe there will be a exhibition with him later on here in Tokyo....must search for more info...

Friday-a nice day with lunch and some windowshopping...

This have been a nice day. Lunch at my favorite creperie in Shibuya, afterwards we walked back through the backstreeets of Ayoma. Thats where all the fantastic small stores are...look at some of my favorites...and enjoy! I do.

God morning Boss!

It happend this morning when I was walking my son to school.
The big boss came to his office in a big white Rolls Royce, all the coworkers lined up and shouted out- God Morning Boss! The Boss came out of the car with a big cigarr in his hand.

The first Christmas tree I have seen this year!

I have started to see Christmas decoration now in Tokyo. It will be fun to see how Tokyo dresses up for the big celebration.

November in Tokyo is amazing...

The sky is blue and the sun is shining. I can still sit outside and take my coffee.
Everyday I pas by an incredible old building just in front of the new Tokyo Midtown.
I have found an favorite shop, which I also pas by everyday, Denim Monster. They have a japanese hippy style with indigo dyed jeans and really cool shirts.

Nice, nice and wonderful brunch in Shibuya!

Yesterday, Sunday, we had a very nice brunch in this cute little creperie in Shibuya. Hard to see it wasn´t in France...
