Tokyo is enormous.......

A new a very visual exhibition (but sometimes confusing) at 2121DesignSight!

I saw a new exhibition at the designmuseum in the Midtown area. They always do interesting shows, very modern and interesting. This time maybe they tried a little to much. The subject was the importance of using your eyes. But it happened too much...so you forgot what was important and focused on the different material and the visual presentation. However, it is always interesting to visit this museum.
From their website:
The "first show" of 2008 between 21_21 Designsight and their corporate Partners.
To see, to view, to observe, to perceive.... Discerning taste and a superlative eye are essential components for successful design; and are the "eye" through which 21_21 hopes to offer new perspectives.

Beautiful bags at Spiral exhibition....

Fantastic remake of old plastic ribbons, "old music recording tapes"(kassettband). The effect of the material was incredible nice. I also discovered this Spiral exhibition and cafe place. Amusing!
